Youth Soccer: Hurff started his soccer career playing for Mantua Magic of the South Jersey League Flight 1 at U9. After two seasons he moved on to a MAPS team called Pittsgrove Premier ’92. As Captain of Pittsgrove, Hurff helped lead his team to a 2009 NJYS State Championship, 2010 Region 1 Premier League Finalist, along with two Futsal State Championships. He was also a member of the New Jersey ODP Program. During this period, Hurff had a stand out career at St. Augustine Prep earning NSCAA Regional All-American, First Team All-State, SJSCA Offensive Player of the Year, Top 15 Players in the State NJSIAA, South Jersey Player of the Year awards (Philadelphia Inquirer, Courier Post, Daily Journal, Press of Atlantic City). In his senior season he scored 25 goals and tallied 11 assists as He helped St. Augustine Prep capture the Non-Public A state title, while also scoring a hat trick to lead his team St Augustine Prep’s first ever Coaches Cup Championship.
